In 1998, Anchor Bay opened to the public for the first time. It opened with 56 slips, and since that time has doubled in size. Located in a small, protected cove on the north end of Collin Park on Lake Lavon, the marina offers a quiet, easy to access boat storage facility that will make boating both easy and affordable for you and your family. Anchor Bay is easy to access from Plano, Allen, Garland, McKinney and anywhere in Collin or Dallas County.

The marina was developed in response to the growing demand for access to “on-the-water” boat storage. Anchor Bay Marina offers year round storage on Lake Lavon without all the frills of other area marinas. As a result, Anchor Bay Marina is DFW’s best solution to keeping your boat on the water without having to pay overly costly prices. Additionally, even though Anchor Bay does not have its own gas dock, ships store or restaurant, all of these amenities and more are located in the same park at Collin Park Marina. Anchor Bay tenant have the same access to these resources as Collin Park tenants.
